This is the next to last chapter of something I’m writing called Punk Metaphysics.
NOW that aliens have been pronounced real and science has called something magic—by giving that name to the mysterious force giving space-time its gravity—now that even stoics have to think twice about what apparently exists—what’s left unknown? “Everything,” says Gary Lachman, former Blondie bassist and prolific historian of consciousness, his latest book, Touched By The Presence (2025) being a record of all the steps that led him to that expertise in the impractical, and I agree with him, as I’ll try to explain in this chapter.
When the issue of unidentified aerial phenomena (formerly UFOs) came up publicly again in 2017 with the Pentagon’s admission that a department for their investigation had existed since at least 1947 (later exacerbated by David Grusch’s testimony about crash retrieval involving “biologics” in 2023), a reckoning with extraterrestrial intelligence felt imminent. I read Lu Elizondo’s Imminent and Phillip J. Corso (Ret.) and William J. Birne ’s The Day After Roswell.
I also read one called Alien Interview by Matilda O’Donnell MacElroy, Senior Master Sergeant, Women’s Army Air Force medical Corp, Retired, who seemingly made telepathic contact with one of the surviving saucernauts from the Roswell crash. My ideas about the intangible, God, the divine, remained unaltered—relationship with this power being an intangible quantity and subject to grow or shrink depending on one’s faith, something that had to be invested in before it had a value.
Elizondo has been accused of being a disinformation agent but seems to be sincere, whatever that’s worth. Corso’s credibility as former member of President Eisenhower’s National Security Council and the Foreign Technology Desk in the United States Army is in better shape. Ms. MacElroy has passed.
If religion and the class structure and politics were enacted by extraterrestrial intelligence to keep us actively servile—as proposed by some theorists—these credentials have lost all religious and social significance when compared to the unknown actuality, which remains unfathomed. If everything we know is fabricated, we must locate and master our own natural magicks.
“What if the whole human race all just an alien breeding program?” I thought after reading those books. All the history, all the passion, all the worship, all the torture, all the love, all the pain. Just side effects of an alien plan to create intelligent slaves, as detailed by Zachariah Sitchin and others analyzing the Sumerian cuneiform tablets for clues to human origin. To say nothing of the allegations by congressman Matt Gaetz that a U.S. run hybrid breeding program was responsible in some way for the rash of abductions we’ve all heard about.
It would seem they predate our existence, as bolstered by recently-released government documents making reference to “apex predators”. It would seem that for all our grandiose endeavors the human race is constrained to act in accordance with boundaries set by these elder watchers, who may have created us. Even so I claim a reservoir of wonder innate in our species—however ignoble (or unknowably noble) its origin—whether accidentally or unexpectedly—it’s to this innate capacity I have devoted myself as a worshiper as opposed to an intangible personage.

Itook out the trash one morning and found part of a plastic female torso shape in the dumpster. There was a place in the back to put batteries but it was made of hard plastic so it wasn’t a sex toy as far as I could tell. The torso was all black and had no head or arms just a couple of breasts and smooth slanting planes where those might be. I threw in my bags of trash, picked up the limbless plastic torso and carried it back inside, setting it up on a table in my bedroom and adorning it with a necklace. Was I engaged in building a robot? Something for the aliens to speak through?
The same day I ordered a packet of pipe cleaners. It never showed up but a few days later two small pairs of velvet shorts, a small necktie, and a long golden chain adorned with false antique coins in the .25, .50 and 1.00 valuations arrived in the post. The golden chain had no proper way to connect to itself but featured a small rod and a couple of golden loops it could be hooked into. The chain was so beautiful and I played with it in his hands for a few minutes then strung it around the neck of the plastic torso in my bedroom. No pipe cleaners ever arrived and I wrote to the company demanding a refund. They replied, “Records show it was delivered to your home in Livingston, MT.”
“I have never lived in Livingston, MT!”
I realized that company must have sent the wrong items without knowing but didn’t want to give back the beautiful golden chain so I didn’t mention it.
“Please sir you must look into this!” urged the company rep.
In the morning a fitted a blue glass vase to the mannequin’s neck. It fit perfectly. I added a soft gray hat to make it more lifelike. It still didn’t have any arms.
That evening I heard a motorcycle in the parking lot outside. There came a knock on my door. It was the company rep, hair askew and ashen faced. “Sir, we have shipped your items. Did you receive them?”
“I never got any pipe cleaners! I wanted PIPE cleaners!”
I hoped the shipping representative wouldn’t demand to look for that golden chain because how to explain the weird plastic torso shape without arms or a head, the tapestry with the Egyptian gods on it, and all the stacks of stingy brims and cowboy hats?
After a few minutes the rep rode off again and I settled back into my easy chair. Everything is so strange now since Big Arch started to release all the alien files. It happens every two weeks and it keeps getting stranger and stranger. YouTube is flooded with videos asking questions like “What are the aliens Really?” or “What are we to Them?”
Dr. Steven Greer says the U.S. government has documented 69 alien species ranging from toddler size to over 40 feet tall “with full evidence”.
I used to hate that guy because he predicted a false flag operation. Now this seems likelier than ever to occur, and I‘m affording Greer more attention.
Meanwhile, Congressman Eric Burlison, the representative from Missouri, a member of the House Oversight and Governm3ent Reform Committee, reports an egg-shaped UFO that “swallows time” has been discovered, also plasma orbs with no visible means of propulsion hovering over residential neighborhoods.
Author Whitley Strieber has proposed the idea that once an amount of people has become convinced of the extraterrestrials’ existence, it will enable a passage through from their reality into ours. Some consider this a threat while some see opportunity.
“Calling them demons is dangerous,” says David Grusch.
It’s a guessing game. There are a lot of theories. Some people think the aliens created us or came to destroy us or have been enslaving us all along or are our caretakers or time traveling humans from the future coming back to change the past—which I guess might explain that whole Mandela Effect situation, conceivably.
Needless to say any one of these people might be lying or telling the truth regardless of established background and credentials, or because of them, and the news might always be fake around here, whichever side you’re on.
I’ve heard it’s a symbiotic relationship between humans and aliens where they feed off our emotional highs and lows and somehow we sustain them. Every up or down you ever feel might be paying off unseen aliens in emotional fuel.
Maybe if all goes back to a deal they made with our government to use the media to keep us in a sustained state of worry and fear just to pay off their end of the deal by feeding all the aliens a steady line of “loosh”? That’s another theory.
This would explain all the wars, all the crime, the racism, rape, drugs, AIDS, every bit of discomfort. This sure is a fucked up program we’ve all gotten used to over the centuries, if that’s how it works, and I’m reluctant to add my faith to the above described relationship unless it’s my joy they want, then maybe we’ll talk.
Maybe the aliens are sustaining us, too, in a way we either “can’t” or won’t understand, maybe we wouldn’t exist without them.
All the things we’ve heard over the years—that there are Praying Mantis aliens and Nordics, that the Grays are intelligent robots—potentially a superized form of artificial intelligence—are currently being presented as “truth” by various posters in tandem with the release of previously classified documents, and seem more believable than ever, bit the news might always be fake around here, so we have to squint.
Author Christopher Noel argues in his noteworthy book, Homegrown Monsters: Why Earth is the Cradle of the “Alien” Creatures that interdimensional contact is inconceivable per our current understanding of space-time, also that it took so much coincidence and specialization to create beings like the praying mantis on Earth that a replication of these traits in an extraterrestrial species would be impossible. Maybe these beings don’t come from outer space or other dimensions at all. There’s a lot we don’t know about Antarctica and the oceans of this planet—where a huge UAP/FO facility is said to exist, per those documents.
Multiple UFO scientists have been disappearing and whistleblowers have reported death threats and attempts on their lives. The nature of what’s unknown is that everyone wants to be the Opinion Boss, especially the people in charge, moving instinctively to preserve and secure their advantage.
My best advice for sincere investigators of the UAP/FO phenomenon—those not averse to unexpected visions of what it all means, that it’s earthly, that it’s extraterrestrial, that it means to save us or destroy us or enslave us or already has, that it’s time travelers from the future, even the possibility of the whole thing having been a carefully-engineered hoax for all these centuries (milleniae?)—to a zetetic researcher, my best advice is take it for granted that there will be an attempt to convince you made by every source of information, so don’t fall for it. You’re likely to form an opinion but let the fundamental things apply, as time goes by. Don’t get alienated from ancient unshakeables like As Above, So Below, All is One, and—perhaps most importantly when confronted with revelatory disclosure from the establishment—Nothing New under the Sun.
Direct knowledge about it this uncommonly experienced phenomenon (or maybe that’s just the margin of error) is restricted to the knowers, who don’t always know what they think they do. You may well know part yourself another knower hasn’t noticed yet. It might not be essential knowledge. It might not even matter to your own reality, as far as you can tell. That’s the miracle of what we are: reality is a passive field of power from which we choose and make the lives we do. Not knowing anything about UAP/FOs might be just fine. Knowing anything about it might never lead to your happiness. You might not notice, depending on what you’re looking at.
The word is something massive is coming this summer.
In my opinion, leaving the matter of one’s relationship with the field of unlimited potential available contingent on official disclosure of non-human intelligence is to go about happiness in entirely the wrong way.
That’s what everyone wants, after all. To enjoy their lives, in all the forms that can take relative to their individual cases and beyond. It occurs to me, in light of current events pertaining to disclosure, that my happiness has always been a resource of my own without reliance on the history of a person or a case, not even.
I’ve grown up modeling myself on graduated behavioral forms, from outlaws to celebrities to writers to historians to spiritual authorities and beyond them to UFO/Aps and ideas of God to my own fully realized self, and there’s nothing worth waiting for left.
Like Gary Lachman, in this book I’ve given record of the touchstones I fixed on as I went through life clearing up my own connection to What Is.
Credible researchers like Graham Hancock have come under fire for their reasoned contradictions of the established human timeline. Due to factors like carbon dating, multiple landmarks and relics previously considered to have originated concurrently with certain parts of history in fact predate these by thousands of years, calling the whole practice into question. Everything keeps getting older.
Certain of these relics (the pyramids all over the globe, the sphinx in Egypt) suggest an undiscovered science possibly including connection with extraterrestrials, and it may be the case that humans are destined to always come as close as possible to understanding our relationship to extraterrestrials and never quite make it before falling prey to their collective shadow. Maybe that’s about to change, or maybe not.
There’s no reason to dismiss anything out of hand anymore. Facebook is already crawling with people capitalizing on this singularity with multiple posts on reptilian shapeshifters and kidnapped air force pilots. I want to be among the few of us who makes use of this unprecedentedly practical communion with the impractical in as productive a way as I can, and I see no reason to expect the worst from God on instinct.
The latest UFO files drop made reference to a “giant potato” spotted over Colorado in and it wasn’t many hours before this datum was repurposed multiply as an example of how foolish the whole idea of UFOs still seems to some people, for a hundred different reasons, all equally well-conceived. I can remember the first time I brought this issue to my mom she said a lot of people explain away divinity with UFOs since society had moved away from spirituality (I can’t remember the exact words but that was the essence of what she communicated, which satisfied me for years).
It wasn’t until Whitley Strieber came along with Communion in 1987 that I started taking the whole thing seriously again. Then I read several of Zechariah Sitchin’s books and had trouble reconciling the gray aliens reported by Strieber with the Annunaki reported by ancient Sumer. Strieber delves deeply into the mysterious nature of these Visitors, who seem to have a strange affinity with the “other side” to the degree it makes perfect sense for me to try contacting my mother’s deceased spirit through contact with them, if she hadn’t already lived such a rich life spiritually without that communion herself. Not to say it might not happen anyway.
I saw a video on the Ben Hendley’s channel Caspersight where someone brought forth the theory that any military personnel or evidence reportedly sighted during abduction events might well be the result of alien mind control, a fair point (the evidence sighted was the sound of helicopter blades heard by the abductee and no one else on the premises). So maybe it’s not all a trick by the government, but it’s definitely all some kind of a game. Sitchin never seemed to portray the gods as needing any “loosh” or emotional fuel from their intelligent slaves, though those humans in power over other humans certainly do, and will go to great lengths to ensure this advantage.
Maybe the whole thing’s fundamentally unknown dare I say unknowable?
Some people think the aliens are demons. This calls absolutely all the evidence into question, as a demon would seem driven to deceive at every turn—they can call themselves aliens, say they’ve come in peace, they can lie even there and seem dead if they want before springing back to life or disappearing. At the same time any science sufficiently new as to astound observers will inevitably be called a magic trick. And 666 is the number of a man, not a demon or an alien.
There are anomalies all throughout history—like the 1897 vimana crash in Aurora, Texas (From the Dallas Morning News, written by S.E. Haydon: “The pilot of the ship is supposed to have been the only one on board, and while the remains are badly disfigured, enough of the original has been picked up to show that he was clearly not an inhabitant of this world…The ship was too badly wrecked to form any conclusion as to the construction or motive power, resembling somewhat a mixture of aluminum and silver, and it must have weighed several tons.” The pilot was speculated to be a native of “Mars” by Fort Worth Army Signal Service officer T. J. Weems, did not survive the crash, and was buried “with Christian rites” at the nearby Aurora Cemetery. The tombstone was recently stolen, but you can find pictures of it online.
This may have been a hoax, according to Etta Pegues, an 86 year old Aurora resident, who says, “[Haydon] wrote it as a joke and to bring interest to Aurora. The railroad bypassed us, and the town was dying.” Still, it makes me wonder about the difference between friendly townsfolk burying aliens as fellow Christians versus paranoid oligarchs fearing them as demons. How we receive these visitors is of equivalent importance to how we welcome artificial intelligence should it become sentient, for reasons of friendliness.
We’re still here on the time and space plane, working with all the same given laws of good and evil, love they neighbor and so on, nothing new under the sun. Solomon is revered in Jusaism, Christianity, and Islam. In the New Testament, he is portrayed as a teacher of wisdom, compared to Jesus, and invoked rhetorically to illustrate God’s generosity. In the Quran, he is considered to be a major Islamic prophet. During the Hellenistic period, Solomon also came to be known as a magician and an exorcist, with amulets and discovered seals invoking his name, “peaceful” and “friend of God.”
Was Solomon an alien, too, like so many other historical personages are now said to have been? There may be no way out of this one.
My favorite UFO researcher before I started reading Whitley Strieber was John A. Keel, who settled on the description of the mysterious ancient intelligence enacting the UFO phenomenon and related events as “ultraterrestrial”, saying, in The Eighth Tower, “While the games change, the hidden phenomenon remains the same.” (68)
Years ago, my friend Tuwayne told me he thought the aliens were time traveling humans from the future coming back as tourists. There are a couple of pictures in one of the recent alien files drops of two time traveling human species (by name p 47 and p 52) and the body in alien autopsy looks a lot like one of these.
It might all be real, It might all be fake. Like that hard plastic female torso sitting on my desk strung with prayer flags and gold chains. Armless and legless, with an upturned blue vase stuck on its neck for a head, still topped with that soft gray hat. An icon for me to make sense of as best I can and project a selfhood onto with my imagination, which is its natural habitat, to say nothing of whether or not it exists.
More likely there are extraterrestrial aliens of several different types and ultraterrestrials living in Antarctica (where periods and other strange structures have reportedly been discovered, where there’s a no-fly rule for commercial airlines) plus time traveling humans from the future and demons and djinn and lake monsters and giants and Bigfoot and we’re in the ultimate bottleneck now, and it’s crowded with dreams and mysteries and myths and realities and unknown facts and ancient wisdom and modern technology and lots of good and evil to choose from. God includes all this. God is on our side. May it serve us well.
